Susanna Durham

Susanna grew up in horse country, Loudon County, Virginia.  She grew up riding and foxhunting.  She started out in the hunter arena, and then grew to also love dressage, eventing and foxhunting.   Susanna has started several horses and was active in both 4-H and pony club growing up.  In college, Susanna was a member of the ISHA Equestrian Team at Radford University in Virginia before tranferring to UGA.  In addition, Susanna was the Director of Equine activities at a summer camp, and also worked with horse rescue organizations rehabilitating and training abused horses during her college years.
Currently, Susanna works for Clarke County public schools and loves teaching riding lessons in the afternoons and on the weekends.  She utilizes a variety of approaches to ensure that horse and rider are comfortable in their own ability and safely, happily progress toward their goals.
